Following their successful South African tour in 2011, Stars of the Ballet Moscow return for a nationwide tour in June 2013. Yuri Vetrov, former director of the Bolshoi Ballet, has prepared a magnificent new programme which celebrates the music of the great Russian composers Sergei Rachmaninov and Pyotr Tchaikovsky, and includes the one-act ballet Paganini (choreographed by Leonid Lavrovsky), Adagio from Rachmaninov`s Symphony no.2 and All by Myself (choreographed by Yuri Vetrov). The second half of the programme includes masterpieces of the classical ballet repertoire such as Tchaikovsky`s Romeo and Juliet and extracts from Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty and The Nutcracker.
